EPDM is the ultimate DIY solution for flat roofs - ideal for extensions, sheds & outhouses either for new work or as a watertight cover over old leaky felt. Where once you might have used bitumen felt, now use EPDM DIY Flat Roof Covering for a job you can "fit & forget". DIY Plastics were first in the DIY market with this heavy duty, long lasting material - already tried & tested in the commercial market over more than 40 years. So effective has it been that the manufacturers offer a 20 YEAR WARRANTY (full details on request).

EPDM is a tough black rubber sheeting, supplied in the exact size you need for your roof and factory-welded where necessary to ensure no leaks. Its rubbery stretch quality takes care of slightly uneven surfaces and there's a separate underfelt for protection on concrete or old felt. A choice of three thicknesses - Standard weight (0.75mm), Heavyweight (1mm) and Super heavyweight (1.5mm) depending on the area to be covered and the degree of exposure to tough weather conditions. Roof covers are manufactured with unique fixing flaps underneath, so that no fixings pierce the exposed surface, and therefore there are no holes for water to find its way through.

As you would expect from DIY Plastics, there is a full range of other ACCESSORIES & PROFILES for the EPDM flat roofing system. This includes Inside Corners & Outside Corners for fitting in roof wells or around upstands or chimney breasts, Pipe Sleeves (in any diameter to order) to accommodate drain or soil pipes, and Mastic Tape to stick all of these to the main roof sheet. We also sell Fixing Plates and galvanised Clout Nails (see photo above) for secure fastening of the EPDM sheet to the roof itself. ROOF EDGING You'll need to finish off your flat roofing with our EPDM Roof/Edge Trim (see photo on left), made from UV Stable self-coloured recycled polystyrene - can be cut, sawn & drilled just like wood, but is quick & easy to fix, with no future painting or rust problems! Alternatively you could use PVCu Planks - neat white foam boards in a range of widths and easy to trim with electric or handsaw. Can easily be glued, screwed or nailed as fascia or roof edge. A full range of accessories & fittings including H-Trim, quarter-round Quadrant, Adjustable Angle, Polypins and Soffit Ventilator. ROOFRITE Liquid Acrylic Roof Sealant Another superb product for the treatment of roof leaks: can be used either to treat small affected areas, or to refurbish a whole roof. Also particularly suitable for gutters, valleys, flashings and upstands. Roofrite is a one-part resin, containing fine fibres to help adhesion and fill small gaps: it brushes on straight from the tin in just two coats. Very easily applied even in damp conditions. Available in dark grey or solar white, and full application instructions are included with every order.
